Do you think the history of India would have been dierent if Mir Jafar had not betrayed Siraj-ud-Daulah? Why do you think so, support your answer with the reasons.

It is very difficult to predict the whole change. No doubt India would have been a different country or maybe still under different kingdoms. Let us consider that even if Mir Jafar hadn’t betrayed him and he won the Battle of plassey, it does not imply that the move would have stopped the East India Company to take hold of power.

I think the Britishers would have attacked again and the Nawab would have been defeated sooner or later. ... So, we should not assume that had the Nawab won The Battle of Plassey, the situation of Bengal, or of India for that matter, would have been v different.
