Yes .... because long coastline means long marine life and it increases in fisheries ; petroleum and other gases etc found this all types of agricultural is increases and also it's have disadvantages of long coastline because it's also have cause conditions like natural phenomenon - tsunami ; water cyclone etc it's get also loss of life ; property and occupations...

Yes long coastline is advantage for uss. because,,,,,
the long coastline of india helps to give india a prominent position in the india ocean .
it gives an advantage to india for larger no.of sea route for import and export
it helps in development and growth of pisciculture .
it gives space for larger
ports.
also it gives india the two seas,the bay of Bengal and Arabian sea...
