No, I don't think the nightingale is brainless. Being simple, innocent, shy or dismissive doest not mean foolish. It is only being noble. She wanted to be a successful and accoladed singer. So, she accepted the frog's advice of giving her vocal training. Her only fault was that she lacked confidence.

Yes I think the nightingle is brainless to some extent because she agrees to receive training from a creature who croaked.
She was not confident of herself .She fell into the trap of laid the scheming frog. She acted on frog's advice which resulted in her untimely death.

yes the nightingale is brainless. although she sings very nice and sweet. yet she is not confident of her song. she was really very innocent to get in the web of the frog and this innoceny in today's world is called brainlessness. in today's era, if anyone is not always careful and cunning, he cannot survive and would surely face the situation that the nightingale faced. the nightingale should have been confident of her own song and should not have trusted the frog so much. her innocency brought her to the death. hence, we can say that she was brainless.
