Prime minister has got the duty the act with the permission of the people , so we elect him . And this rule belongs to Democratic country .

President has to sign in the purpose of prime minister in our country. He has to sign with the permission of other authorities in India so legislative community elects him . Thus , we dont elect president

In a parliamentary democracy, only the leader of the majority party in the Lok Sabha can become the Prime Minister as  they have the record of the PM so they can chose the correct one only, so I say no the president of India should be elected by the lok-sabha
