- But it also shows the importance of kindness and being soft and shows the change it can bring in a person more importantly a thief.
- The Rattrap seller was more open and kind and displayed a change because of the faith Edla had in him.
- Thus, while displaying a stereotype on one side it also enforces the moral that people can change when approached with softness.
