The story doesn't have any incidents of physical cruelty but snatching someone's right to speak and use their own language is brutality.

Explanation:

  • The expression has been taken from the story "The Last Lesson."
  • Even animals and birds are allowed to speak in their own language.
  • Forcing someone to abandon their language and use a forced language is a war brutality.

Answer:

Yes this story says so much about the brutality of war. Though it doesn't have any physical effect on the residents but it had effected them mentally. Thus, everyone knew that a country is power full untill it has its culture and language with it no one can defeat them. Thus, the purssian first attacked to their language their unity.

Hope it helps
