No the tiger shooting organised by villagers was not a serious affair because villagers we're only meant for their 1000 rupees reward so they performed this task as a casual duty . A weak tiger was chosen and cheap goats were placed on boundaries to satisfy with their meal so that tiger will not flee to next place
