do you think the use of maps has changed from the time of ancient Greeks to now ? in what way are they similar and different
Answers
Answer:
Older maps weren't maps as we'd know them now. They were more like the walking maps many hikers use today that describe specific routes, but don't describe much beyond the path. So a merchant who had reason to travel long distances might acquire a route map that described the path between two cities, the villages along the way, places to get water etc.
Answer:
yes,the use of maps has changed from the time of ancient Greeks to now
Greeks used maps to know more about the interiors of other countries to occupy or to trade with them
with the help of maps, they found shortcuts and secret routes
with this, they easily fought against the leaders and occupied them
but now we are using maps in several ways, say, for constructions, know about different places, landforms, latitudes and longitudes etc..
