The verdict by the commission of inquiry was on the expected lines of the evils of the colonialism. The commission gave its verdict in a much-biased way. The motive of the commission was to move out the man who represent the native people in order to make space for the animals who represent the colonizers. Although the elephant has invaded the man's hut illegally, still the man was asked to find another space to build his hut.

Answer:

In my opinion, their verdict fell directly in line with what we perceive as the evils of colonialism, specifically, moving out the native people of a country and continuing to expand.... encroaching on boundaries, and changing the rules along the way because the group being encroached upon doesn't have the educational background to understand what's really happening. What it comes down to is the powerful against the powerless. The members of the commission are chosen to "hear" complaints; their decisions are based upon what is best for themselves and their agenda.
