People are getting more educated and are learning the basics of living. They are no more listening to false preachers and spending money on the hand made gods.
They are understanding the meaning of the life. Still the older villagers are having same beleif but the time is changing

People continue to worship the village deities. On festival days the temples are crowded. People perform pujas, do prayers, roll on their bodies around the temple, make rotations around the temple hoping for blessings of God.
The people listen to mythological stories, good speeches by eminent philosophers or scholars. But the people go willingly, voluntarily rather than being forced by influential persons.
People do not believe in blind superstitions. The interact with divine persons to keep themselves clear in their conscience and not because some one tells them to.
People are happier interacting with God and Godly people rather than being forced into that.
