Colour prejudice
I do not think that there is any colour prejudice in our country. Of course, some specific colours are used to denote some elements of the Indian society but on an overall aspect, colour prejudice is not encouraged. The best example is our Indian tricolour. The saffron colour is used at most times to denote the Hindu religion. But the same colour, when printed on our flag, becomes a colour of bravery sacrifice and unity. Also the green colour...known to denote the Islam religion, teaches the virtue of prosperity and generosity. All the colours are like the seven shades of the rainbow, which make the whole rainbow look beautiful. Not a single colour is prominent, yet the rainbow looks incomplete in the absence of any one colour. As all elements, all religions are given equal dignity, colour prejudice is not existing in our country ❤❤❤

Color Prejudice
I don’t think the color prejudice problem in our country exists. There are various reasons behind it. The first reason is our Constitution. It ensures complete freedom to its citizens irrespective of color, class, religion, etc. If anyone were to discriminate against anyone on the basis of color, that person could be in trouble legally.
Secondly, the people in our country our predominantly swarthy. In the south, people predominantly are of dark complexion. This dark complexion is common. So people don’t discriminate or have prejudices against dark complexion.
Another very potent reason is the religious reason. Most of God incarnations such as Shiva, Rama, Krishna, Vishnu, etc. were dark complexioned. So, dark color is considered auspicious.
So, in conclusion it can be said there is no color prejudice in our country.
