Dear student,

We as a nation have come a long way from discrimination on the basis of colour and caste. However, in some rural areas, this social evil still continues. Uprooting colour and caste prejudice are not easy. Yet our country has overcome it to quite an extent. However, it is high time that the policies regarding the same are revised in order to bring better changes in the future. My stand on the matter is that the colour or caste of a person, things over which he has no control, must not play a role in anything that happens in his life.
