Do you think what is currenly being done in your community, adequately promotes social and environmental justice?
Answers
No. I do not believe in this statement. Most of the political parties are focussed on vote bank politics rather than promoting social and environmental justice. Inspite of the Clean India campaign, attitude of general public towards environmental pollution has not changed at all. Majority of the population is living a low class life with no access to basic services like food, shelter, education and healthcare. There is a huge gap between rich and poor in the society which is against social justice.
No, it does not.
One of the main ways of achieving social justice is through economic growth, an essential facet to social development and justice.
The guiding principle of environmental justice is that everyone, regardless of race, color, national origin or income is entitled to equal protection from environmental harms and risks.
