"Yes", your friend will,unless he/she is one of those friends who is with you only in your happy and joyful moments of life and turn their back when you really need their help. Whether your friend listens to you  also depends on you, if you have befriended that person based on his or her popularity status it is less likely that person would like to listen to you as he/she has lots of people remaining to talk to even if you get angry and ditch that person because he/she didn't listen to you.So you are solely responsible for the way your friend acts towards you.
