hello friend....!!!

Yes according to me mathematics is abstract in nature.

sometimes we may not study for the exam completely, but we might have the capability to answer the maths questions with our own idea.
this ain't possible for other subjects, as because we should know all the concepts to answer .

mathmatics is not like that even if we dont know the answer we would tend to solve it and to be surprising we would get the answer ,it's because mathematics is our own ideas and views about the question.

a suitable example is for this is, before few days in my class we had a surprise maths test and no one of the students knows what is the portion for the test, but most of the students scored 40+ for 50 . it doesn't mean that question paper is easy ,but it means that students where capable of attending the question with their own ideas even without proper preparation.

so I conclude that Yes mathematics is abstract in nature.

hope it helps....!!!!
