Volunteering by taking assignments or small jobs when someone is in need.

Explanation:

Yes, I volunteer to take assignments or small jobs when someone is in need because it is the right way of conduct for a young person like me. Though I am normally occupied with school, homework and other household chores, I still get time on Saturdays and Sundays to help others.

I live in a community where there are lots of old and senior citizens. That is why on Saturdays, I usually ask if I can help them to get groceries or other supplies from the market. This is because I know how hard it is for them to commute in the narrow and busy streets especially during the weekends.

They always have a few things to buy and so I take the task of getting them those things. Almost everyone knows that I do this in the evening, so they all look for me with a list of things they want me to get for them on Saturday evenings. I gladly take all their list and money and get them their supplies. These supplies are mostly groceries and kitchen stuff.

I am also accompanied by my friends most of the time and everyone of them loves doing this work. It gives me a sense of positive feeling because they readily tag along with me if they are free. I don't expect anything in return from this volunteering work but I am just satisfied to see them happy and one less burden.
