Hey mate ☺️

Power = +1.5 D

Focal length =

 \frac{1}{power}

f \:  =  \frac{1}{1.5}  =  \frac{10}{15}  \\  =  \frac{2}{3}  = 0.666 \\  = 0.67m

The Convex lens is used.

The defect of vision is hypermetropia.

I Hope it helps you ☺️✌️✌️

Here's your answer mate:

P=+1.5D
f=?

Focal length of the lens,
f=1/P
=1/1.5D
=10/15m

=0.6667m
=0.67m

P is positive.

This shows that the lens is convex. This defect of vision is Farsightedness ( Hypermetropia)
