a) What type of visual problem he has?.

  • (A) Ramesh is suffering from a condition known as myopia or near sightedness.
  • Since the maximum focal length of a healthy eye lense is 2.5 cm and the maximum focal length of Ramesh's eye is 2.499 cm which is less than the maximum focal length of a healthy eye, We can infer that Ramesh is suffering from myopia.
  • It is a condition when the light focuses on infront of , instead on the retina.
  • The individual suffering form myopia sees a distant object (objects placed beyond the far point of ey) blurry while close objects appear normal.

b) What type of lens is need for his problem?

  • The lens used for correction of his problem as a concave lense.
  • The concave lense help to move the focus of the light at a correct position.
  • The light rays in myopic eyes are converged in front of the retina, a convex lense diverges it further to the retina so that a clear image of the object is formed at retina.

c) Draw a neat diagram after rectifying of eye vision.

*PLEASE REFER TO THE IMAGE FOR THE DIAGRAM.
