Does a body have acceleration in Following situations ?
Why?
.a body covelling along a straight line with uniform velocity
.a body traveling along a straight line with non-uniform velocity
.a body travelling along a Circular path with uniform velocity
a body traveling along a circular path with non-uniform velocity​

Answer:

1. No there is not acceleration because the body is in uniform velocity as there is not change in velocity.

2. Yes there is acceleration because the body is changing velocity with respect to Time.

a body travelling around a straight line with uniform velocity will not have acceleration because there is no change in speed

If body travelling along a straight line with non uniform velocity will have the acceleration because there is a change in speed with time

body travelling along a circular path with a uniform velocity will will not have acceleration because there is no change in speed

body travelling along a circular path with a non uniform velocity will have the acceleration because there is a change in speed with time

from the above answers we know we came to know that a body travelling with uniform speed will not have acceleration where as a body travelling with a non uniform speed will have acceleration
