yes...because no external forces acted in the time of free fall in the body....generally we neglect the air resistance... so no external acceleration is privided to the body...so we say tha it is in the constant acceleration...
we can say velocity changes in the uniformly because change in velocity is called acceleration... so as acceleration is constant velocity is uniform
