Since fresh water doesn't have all the salts dissolved in it, a volume of fresh water weighs less than the same volume of seawater. Therefore the ship has to displace more fresh water to equal her weight, and the ship sinks in order to do that.

Answer:
depends
abhi dekh ek badi ship hai heavy
agar usko thik se observe karega tho uska bhot sa part paani ke under rehta hai
abhi ocean floor bhot deep hai tho ship araam se aa ja sakti hai bina hull ko damage kiye
per lake itna deep nahi hota tho possibility hai ki woh rise karega aur hull bhi damage ho sakta hai
