no ozone layer does not damages or causes any harm to us instead of harming it protects us from UV rays...
but ozone gas can damage us
it makes a blanket which does not allow us to see through it....

Hello buddy!
Let us at first recall what actually air pollution is. Air pollution occurs when harmful or excessive quantities of substances including gases, particulates, and biological molecules are introduced into Earth's atmosphere.
Now the ozone layer present in the stratosphere is not at all harmful and is very protective and beneficial layer for us as it protects us from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays(UV rays). On the other hand ozone in the troposphere is a harmful pollutant causing several diseases and is an air pollutant...so the tropospheric ozone is harmful while the ozone layer in the stratosphere is not at all a pollutant.
Hope it helps buddy.
