Does alpha radiation from uranium 235 effect liquid sodium in nuclear power plant​

No,alpha radiation from uranium 235 does not  effect liquid sodium in nuclear power plant this is becoz liquid sodium is used as the moderator in the nuclear reactor becoz it works as absorber.
