Surely, I had given CBSE Board Exams the last year and so I think I can help you with it.
- The paper which I gave was entirely based upon NCERT.
- Each and every type of question which was in the paper was somewhere in the NCERT maths textbook.
- Some questions were tricky, especially in section C, but if you had spent a good amount of time during your preparation, they were easy as cake.
- Solve each and every question of NCERT Maths textbook ( and don't forget those optional exercises at the end of each chapter :P )
- I had also gone through past year papers but I didn't find any question which was 'unsolvable' or very hard ( some people hype up the 'toughness' of questions in exams)
- Questions will be based on NCERT but to score good, you should be able to make out how you're going to solve a question just by looking at it.
- The above part can be achieved by practicing (or mugging up solutions, which I think will make things way too boring). There is no substitute to practice (The more you sweat while preparation, the less you bleed in war)
