I think Ciipher has a lot of potential. Most of the members have been on survival shows like YG Treasure Box, No.Mercy, Under19 and Produce X 101, and therefore already had somewhat of a fanbase before debuting in Ciipher.
Whilst I wasn’t really a fan of their debut title track, their newest one was absolutely amazing, and I read somewhere that it was self-produced (although I’m not 100% sure). The members are very versatile and have a lot of potential.
I guess one of their shortcomings is their company. Don’t get me wrong, I think Rain cares about them a lot, but they aren’t getting promoted enough to the general public and therefore they’re not getting that much exposure. Most variety and web shows they’ve appeared on such as Weekly Idol and Season B Season have also had Rain join them as well.
I think Ciipher can get really popular if only they were promoted right, because everything else about them is really appealing.
