Does anyone know the advantages and disadvantages of the Pascaline/Pascal calculator?

Pascaline Calculator was used to perform addition and subtraction of two numbers directly and it can also perform multiplications and divisions by using repeated addition and subtraction. The main advantage is that it can perform carry operation with ease and also cascading operation
disadvantage
The disadvantage to the Pascaline was that it was limited to addition and positive numbers. In 1694, Leibniz improved the Pascaline by creating a machine that could also multiply. In 1820, Colmar improved the machine, the Arithometer, so it could do the four basic arithmetic functions.
