does area of a square field is 576 m square or rectangular field whose length is twice its breadth has its perimeter equal to the perimeter of the square field find the area of the rectangular field

hey here is your answer.....

side of field = √area

= √576m²

= 24m

perimeter of square = 4 * side

= 2 * 24m

= 48m

given perimeter of rectangle is equal to perimeter of sq.

length = 2x
breadth = x

perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )

48 = 2 ( 2x + x )

24 = 3x

x = 24/3

x = 8

length = 2 * 8 = 16m
breadth = 8

area of rectangle = l * b

= (1 6 * 8 ) m

= 128m²
