Well benzene doesn't give Baeyer's test.

Baeyer's test is for checking the unsaturation of the given organic compound.

Benzene has 3 double bonds but still doesn't give this test as its π bonds are in resonance or, you can say, are not stable at any position, hence those π electrons keep rotating through the ring
