does buoyancy depend on shape and volume?

Because the volume of the object inside the liquid depends on the
shape of the object. For different
shapes with same mass, the volume of objects are different. ... Buoyant force is majorly about the replacement of mass of water due to sinking of body. Shape does not have anything major to do with
buoyant force.

The buoyant force depends on the mass of the object. The
buoyant force depends on the weight of the object. The
buoyant force is independent of the density of the liquid. The
buoyant force depends on the
volume of the liquid displaced.

Hope it helps you..
