Does charging by induction or conduction occur during a thunderstorm?

(1) During a storm, charged cloud approaches a building or a house.

(2) Charges are induced(that is, the electrons from the neutral house are attracted to the roof and so, the roof becomes charged.

(3) The proof is that some houses get thunder stricken
