Does daily diary needs to be supported by evidence

A daily diary is written for recording personal experiences, having something to look back to, developing personality, or just to have a place where you can speak your mind. 

Generally you can rant about your daily events and give your opinions on things. It doesn't need to be backed up with evidence since it can't and you don't need evidence to be yourself.
