  • 1) Lemon juice-

because lemon juice there are free ions present in them thats why lemon juice can conduct electricity.

  • 2) Caustic Soda-

because it dissociates into ions.

  • 3) Sugar

NO, SUGAR SOLUTION WILL NOT CONDUCT ELECTRICITY SINCE IT IS A POOR CONDUCTOR OF ELECTRICITY. THIS IS BECAUSE SUGAR SOLUTION IS NEITHER ACIDIC NOR BASIC. No, it is not possible for sugar to conduct electricity in distilled water. It is so because, sugar cannot conduct electricity.

Answer:

When distilled water is mixed with either lemon juice or caustic soda it conducts electricity as it has ions in it (H+ and OH-) but it does not conduct electricity when it is mixed with sugar as it has not ions.
