1. No, everyone around us will not get enough food to eat. Some people who are poor and not able to afford don't have enough food to eat due to which they don't have proper balanced diet. While people who can afford can have food sometimes more than enough also.

2. Following are the ways by which wastage of food can be avoided:-

a) Buy only what u need in absolute quantities.

b) Try to avoid storing foods in large amount.

Answer:

  • No. Everyone does not have enough food to eat because of the country's high unemployment and poverty, which forces people to go hungry.
  • Around one-third of the food grown on the planet is wasted, either due to improper storage methods or due to food waste caused by people who left the food unconsumed and discarded.
  • In a world where millions of people go hungry every day, reducing food loss and waste is critical. We recognise that food is not a given for the millions of people who go hungry every day when we reduce waste.

Some ways to avoid wastage of food are :

  • Food grains, pulses, fruits, and vegetables should be stored properly.
  • Avoid leaving food uneaten at meals.
  • Prevent food waste at social gatherings or functions.
  • Leftovers must be refrigerated before being reused.
