The body of a fish is opaque. Hence if sunlight or any other light falls on it it casts a shadow on the other side. But it depends on how far is the screen from the fish. The screen may the floor or the side walls of of an aquarium. If the screen is too far (say, the floor of a swimming pool or the river bed) then we cannot observe the shadow formation as the shadow is formed in water itself.
