YES,it really does play a significant role as pollination is a process which is mostly dependent on insects like bees for its processing.Bright coloured flowers and those with a good smell attract these polllinators the most and hence greater are the chances that these pollinators would like to go near a flower with brifgt colours and good smell rather the ones which are fade coloured and dosent possess a very strong smell.
Hence,grater are the chances that polllination would take place from the flower with a bright colour and good smell.
