genetic combination of father will surely determine the sex of child.
in mother ovum will have only x chromosomes.
when the sperm carrying x chromosome fertilises the ovum,the child will be a girl.xx condition.
when sperm carrying y chromosome fertilises the ovum., the child will be a boy.xy condition.
thus.. father determines the gender of the baby..
