yes! God takes avtar as humans as well as in form of animals also we can take an example that lord Vishnu take birth as lord Rama who too was an God but he was an human ... another thing that the pig is also a avtar of lord Vishnu ... is it not surprising to you?

God is one and does not take either the human or any other form. God is shapeless without any conceivable form.
