The relationship between Hinduism and science is not easy to describe. Since Hinduism has no centralized ecclesiastical authority, no “church” as it were, it is impossible to get an official position on science or any other issue. Hinduism stands along side the major theologies of the world in its relation to science. That Hinduism has a polytheistic side, unlike Judaism, Christianity and Islam, matters little when it comes to the issue of science. The key point is that Hinduism is a metaphysical tradition, whereas science is not.

Hinduism has very less or no relation at all with science. You just search how many hindus have contributed to the development of world society through their innovations, discoveries, technology in science. Just tell me how many Hindus have received Nobel prize in physics, chemistry, medicine. No one.
If you research the advancement of science the vital & most fundamental theories, principles, laws, innovations have been contributed by just two religion i.e. Christianity & Judaism. Christians and Jews have received the most no. of nobel prizes also in all branch from literature to science. Hope it helps.
