Does india need more than one standard time? If yes then why do you think so ? Explain in your own words

Yes of course, India need two standard time. As time difference between the extreme points is of 2hours it always make a problem while travelling west to east and vice versa. There must be 2 standard time in india

As time is calculated on the basis of longitudes there is a difference in time after each longitude(1° = 4 mins of difference in time)
two states Gujarat and arunachal Pradesh have a time difference of 2 hours
this is because the longitudinal extent of India which is 30° from arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat affects the time of the two places
sun rises two hours earlier in arunachal Pradesh than in Gujarat
to avoid any confusing the meridian passing through mirzapur is taken as the time for the whole country

choosing more than one standard time is not considered as this will lead to Much confusion but if someone wants accurate time of his place then the need for this is must
