Does Indian traditions encourage the gender inequality?

In few cases they support and in few cases they oppose . But I guess that we can't say that it is gender inequality, cause even the women feel it like their job.

It depends on changes occured ib Our country because In the ancient and Middle age days Women was not at all given much Importance.But in the present they are given a lot of importanve due tocthe equality obsorved by the people .And equal rights distrubution among the people.But in Middle aged days Mostly Women in many of the countries got right to vote and all the other rights After a long time .So here mainly i wanna say that Whith respect to time every aspect of the people changes.
