Does Kinetic energy can be negative..??​

Answer:

No , kinetic energy of a particle can never  be negative. Since kinetic energy is based on motion, it is always a positive value. If it is not in motion, the kinetic energy of that object is zero. Even if  the velocity is negative the kinetic energy wont be negative since v^2 is positive.

KE = 0.5 mv^2
