Tubectomy prevents the passage of ovum through the fallopian tube. Menstruation is the release of endometrial tissue along with the unfertilised ova in the absence of fertilisation.
Every month uterus prepares itself for receiving fertilised egg (zygote) and to help its development into baby. If fertilised egg is not received then prepared lining of uterus comes out of the body as menstrual flow. Even after tubectomy this process can continue. In case of tubectomy, menstruation will occur but ova will not be released.
