Does osmosis occur in dead plant cells? Why?

Osmosis does not take place in the dead cell. Osmosis will be placed in the solution called as the Hyotonic on the content and it is known based on the cell in the hypotonic solution that would expand with lowering the concentration in the cell. Dead potato cells have the cell walls as well as cell membranes.
