Does oxygen form both an ionic and covalent bond?

No,Oxygen formed only Covalent bond .

As the no. of valence electrons in Oxygen is 6 so,it requires only 2 more electrons to make itself stable.So,when it combines with another Oxygen it formes molecule of oxygen O2 ,that is why covalent bond is also known as molecular bond. And it formes double covalent bond by sharing 2 pair of electrons.
