no photosynthesis occur in all type of plant wether it is having chlorophyll or not except the host plant...

But in which countries sunlight isn't not reach as Antarctica or others .... plants makes their food there ....so I think chlorophyll is most important for photosynthesis.
in Antarctica plant sunlight is available

yes because the chlorophyll contain stroma which have a capacity to convert solar energy into chemical energy which is further used for breaking the water into hydrogen and oxygen which is further used for making starch
