Rehearsing is likely to make it firm. If you are asking if that memory will not further modify/change significantly due to rehearsing, more likely. But content is different. You retain as you recorded and more frequently what you understood as. We all do selective editing whenever we recall. That way, memories do change over time. Rehearsing enables fidelity and prevents inadvertent changes.
