right to education act is obviously a fundamental. right to provide free and compulsory education to the needy children it was passed on 2002by the government of india children's of age between 6-14 have right to study

Right to education is a fundamental duty. Fundamental Duties under Article 51A says that: "It shall be the duty of every citizen of India to provide opportunities for education by the parent or the guardian to his child, or a ward between the age of 6-14 years as the case may be."
