Silk will shrink but nylon won't.

The short answer is that garments made of natural stuffs will generally shrink. And that garments made of Polyester will generally not shrink or shrink very little.

Most natural fabrics like cotton, linen, silk, etc. will shrink if they have not been pre- shrunk in the finishing process, even then there may be minor residual shrinkage. Synthetics such as polyester and nylon do not shrink...

HOPE it helps!!!!
