No it doesn't, as NaOH has ionic bonds in breaks into Na+ and OH- in water .

No , actually Sodium hydroxide ( NaOH ) doesn't react with water , it is an ionic molecule so when it mixes with water it splits into Na+ and OH- due to the polarity of water molecules .
