Does soil effect the flora and fauna of a region? Give any three example to support your answer

the soil also very over space . different types of soil provide basis for different types of vegetion . the sandy soils of the desert support cactus and thorny bushes while wet ,marsly, deltaic soil vegetion . the hill slopes with some depth of soil have conical tree .
animal need soil or rock or grassland to walk on . if there is no soil it is difficult for survive.

for example :-
1) fertile land of the northern plains is ideal for crop cultivation .
2) black soil in the deccan plateau is good for growing cotton and other plants
3) the plants found in the deserts are cactus ,date palm etc
4) the wet marshy lands are found with mangrove forests etc
